Introduction
DoorProtect Fibra is a wired opening detector that notifies of first signs of room intrusion by means of an open door or window. It can be mounted on all types of doors including a metal base. The device detects the door or window being opened by means of high end British manufactured reed switch on which the magnetic field acts.
The DoorProtect Fibra alarm door sensor works only as part of the Ajax security system. Data exchange with the control panel takes place via the secure Fibra protocol. The wired communication range is up to 2 km when connected via a U/UTP cat - five twisted-pair cables.
DoorProtect Fibra is a door sensor for the Fibra line of wired devices. This sensor may only be installed by an installer who has been trained and certified for this.
