Introduction
DoorProtect Fibra is a wired opening detector that notifies of first signs of room intrusion by means of an open door or window. It can be mounted on all types of doors including a metal base. The device detects the door or window being opened by means of high end British manufactured reed switch on which the magnetic field acts.
DoorProtect G3 Fibra features two durable reed switches with a minimum service life of 1,000,000 openings, guaranteeing decades of trouble-free operation. Housed in resilient plastic capsules, these switches remain intact even in cases of drops or transportation, ensuring the detector's effective functionality irrespective of magnet placement.
The DoorProtect Fibra alarm door sensor works only as part of the Ajax security system. Data exchange with the control panel takes place via the secure Fibra protocol. The wired communication range is up to 2 km when connected via a U/UTP cat - five twisted-pair cables.
